Racing-Leagues.com present the launch of the British USF2000 Championship Season 1. Covering 6 rounds all in the UK, we will begin at the famous Oulton Park Island circuit and finish up in Scotland at Loch Drummond.
All events will run on Friday nights from 19:30 GMT. All rounds will have at least two races, details will be confirmed on a round by round basis by our Race Director. This is our first official forray into single seaters in quite some years.
The Cooper Tires USF2000 Series an accessible American open wheel series officially sanctioned by INDYCAR, is a popular proving ground for ambitious drivers wanting to progress to the next level.
The USF2000 car from Van Diemen is an excellent entry-level low-downforce car. It’s grippy, yet nimble. While it can be tail happy at times, it remains catchable and is always rewarding to throw around. Daring overtakes and massive trail braking really show off it’s capabilities.
The 2016 spec USF2000 uses Van Diemen/Elan DP08 chassis and is powered by Mazda’s MZR 2 liter, 4 cylinder DOHC engine with fuel-injectors, tuned by Elite Engines to 170 hp thus capable of achieving a top speed of about 150mph.
This is the ideal entry level car on our Road to Indy. New members are most welcome and we will provide all the support you need to get you up to speed.
The individual events can be found in our events and forums. Join the forums to keep up to date with the latest information. Three pre-season test rounds are also scheduled for January to get new members up to speed.
This is intended to be a fun series that is easily accessible. We are planning this as the first series on our Road to Indy.

We have been around for a long time, through various games and leagues. However our biggest and ongoing success is with our FVR V8 Supercars Series which is now into it’s 6th season. If you want to know what we are all about, have a read here
You can see most of our V8 Races on our YouTube Channel here
That should give you an idea of what we are all about. We would really love to get some rFactor 2 racing going in Europe, the admin team are European based mainly and we don’t get to race in the V8’s with stewarding and covering the events for YouTube.
